Question
My eyebrows go together a little bit, which is kinda annoying and I was going to go to some place to fix them with lasers. However I don't want it to look like I did it on purpose. I was today quoted that to fix eyebrows to not go together so much will require 6 procedures with each procedure costing me $90 - 160 (unless the lady deliberately named too high price, to trick me into a fake "low - ball" offer) The attendant lady sounded kinda douchy, and wouldn't answer many of the questions unless I come in (and be exposed to pushy salesperson). So my question is: how much should it cost to permanently fix eyebrows on male, so they don't go together so much? Does this procedure leaves you having "gay" look, because it's going to be obvious you got treatment, or is it possible to do a "fade in" so it seems like a natural look? Can someone recommend places around Boston Area that do this, and hopefully offer computer - image - preview, so I know exactly what I'm getting as opposed to leaving oppen possibility of them saying later: "oops, sorry we misunderstood you, now your stuck with gay look for the rest of your life"

Answer
Well I don't know much about laser hair removal, but wouldn't waxing or shaving be less expensive and less... permanent. If you don't like the way your eyebrows turn out, you can NEVER get them back. If you wax, you have about 6 weeks before the hairs grow back before you have to worry about waxing again. To answer your question, the pricing seems about right for the laser, but you should call around and see what other places charge. Make sure you are going somewhere reputable (obviously) because the lasers will be very close to your eyes, and that's risky. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
